I've got another new historical article up over at the Vintage Reader—this time taking a look at popular winter sports of the Victorian and Edwardian eras, particularly ice-skating and sleigh-riding. This one was so much fun to research and write! It made me long to go back in time and be part of a sleigh-riding party through the New England countryside, or skate with parties of friends on the Central Park pond. Read the full article here.
